Volunteers needed with experience of eating disorders:

Healthwatch Blackburn are soon to embark on an exciting new project exploring the views and experiences of young people who have experienced an eating disorder.

We are looking for volunteers with lived (personal) experience and/or family members who have supported a young person to help design and deliver the project.  We hope by listening to young people's experiences we can help ensure local provision best meets the needs of those experiencing or at risk of developing an eating disorder.

In addition, the project will also explore body image and how this impacts young people's physical and mental health.  Help shape local services now and for the future.
